Tuesday, April 22nd from 4:30—5:30 p.m. or 6:00—7:00 p.m.
Moore Middle School would like to invite incoming 6th grade families for the 2025/2026 school year to attend our Parent Information Night in the Moore lunchroom. Administrators and counselors will share information on what a 6th grade day looks like, courses and placement, clubs/activities and middle school policies. You’ll also be able to take a self-guided tour of the 6th grade classroom area only at the end of the session. Teachers will not be available (you will meet them at Open House in August).
While the information being presented is geared primarily toward parents, future 6th graders are welcome to attend. The first day of school (August 12th) is a 6th grade ONLY day which is a day of learning schedules, lockers and navigating the hallways without 7th/8th graders in attendance.
If you have further questions, please contact Abbie Lindsey, 6th grade counselor, at ayoung1@lps.org or call the Moore main office at 402-436-1225. If you’re unable to attend, we will post the Power Point presentation on our website after April 22nd.
Thank you!
